Michael (Fancy Rhino’s Graphic Designer, among other things) and I have dived into the world that is 3D for an upcoming project, hence some randomness of what I’ve been working on…

Cooking up something epic.

Mark and I went Gluten free for 2 weeks, and at the end of that…

a huge Sunday lunch, pasta, beer, bread…

GLUTENOUS!

.

Bob and Cristi Sloan.

Coffee Maestros.

It’s my coffee after my coffee.

.

This was my go to food during the gluten fast,

oranges, apples, bananas, and peaches.

PEACHES ARE DELICIOUS.

.

I just stumbled upon this when signing into Vimeo.

This guy’s pretty legit.

.

This is up there for the best short (or commercial if you want) of all time.

Absolutely brilliant.

.

Longings.

.

Fancy Rhino is teaching a film class at a local high school.

Howard High School.

We’re trying to film a documentary about the school, but we really want the kids to film most of it,

so we’re teaching them a bit, and are going to put cameras into their hands real soon!

.

Chillin’ with the neighbors.

Hadn’t done so in a long time, and I’m thankful that I had the chance,

they’re so much fun.

.

Brilliant.

Puts the longings we all have into words, that ACTUALLY make sense.

I get this,

all the time.

That feeling, on a chilly fall day,

in the blue light of the morning,

when I hear a certain song.

Nostalgia, Romanticism, Adolescence…

beauty.

“They are only the scent of a flower we have not found,

the echo of a tune we have not yet heard,

news from a country we have never yet visited.”

yes.

.

love.

this is my home.

so much has happened here,

and so much will.

Thank you God.

We love him to (almost) death.

I love epic commercials, and this is definitely one of them.

Done splendidly well, energy energy energy.

$2 lamp at a thrift store.

Spray adhesive, mod podge, and an old hymnal.

Got these in the mail the other day.

Cannot wait to use them.

Old books, lamp parts, book lamp!

Lately it’s been DIY time, and I’ve definitely enjoyed it.

Unquenchable Fire…

. In My Heart Tonight .

.

A sunset from atop cemetery hill.

.

I’ve been trying to do more time lapses around Chattanooga.

Maybe one day put together a video that’s just absolutely gorgeous,

showing every part of this place that has affected me.

; )

.

This is epic.

And true. These guys are crazy.

When I first saw this, I thought to myself, “I would soooo do this!”

And then I remembered that I would be absolutely terrified of just jumping off those rocks, let alone bouncing off a trampoline into the water.

.

Snuck (not a word apparently, psh!) onto a barge one morning to click away a time lapse.

The sunrise bursting off the Tennessee river was gorgeous….

serene.

.

most excellent indeed.

“instead of worrying, pray.”

Think on the beautiful things of life, things to praise, things compelling, graceful, noble, the best.

.

Bethany leaving the office.

In the late afternoon light, this place shines,

it’s beautiful, inspiring.

.

Took these at the beginning of summer.

Ebay raybans on little latino kids sitting in an antique Methodist pastor’s chair.

love it.

.

A view from the roof.

A la Deep End.

.

I like this guy.

Other than the fact that he’s a ginger, he’s very, very talented.

.

As of late, I’ve made a resolution to not say yes or take on any more projects until I get the one’s I’m currently working on out the door.

So ideas are piling up, but I can’t work on them until I’m completely done…

it’s tough saying no, but I want that feeling of coming home after work and not have any nagging thoughts about “things” I have to do.

that’d be nice.

Anywho, above is something I’d like to try someday.
